I was diagnosed as having Myeloma-90% with hints of Amyloydosis.
I havejust had collected over 4 million stem cells so I have a form of insurance policy in place. I feel good, apart from my legs and feet feeling they are loaded with concrete and I walk a bit like a zombie.
I have had gabapentin and Cymbalta as well as having a very low dose Fentanol patch twice a week .
Any suggestions as to how i can reduce my pain will be very much appreciated .
please excuse any mis spellings in medical terms . herzl hamburger 68 Manchester UK
After readding how diaganoises was made, i have had some of these tests done on me in 1997. After going to my GP with what i called drop foot, he called foot drop same thing. Thats how i got here, the problem i had was that although i could see what i had on my right foot to lift my foot up towards me! I could not see on my left foot and i could not lift my toes up towards me. Muscal wasting on my left calf muscal. To cut along story short when these Nerve conduction test, Electromyography (EMG), also Nerve biopsy from my iner thigh, where done my left leg was dead from the knee down with. Was latter asked to go my GP surger and have blood test done for heppatites C and send this to the RVH BELFAST where tests where done. In the end i was told i had to live with this because they did not know what caused this so they did not know how to cure it.
